Haha, I WIN! Take that, doubting people. Awesome semi-resolution.
Honestly, things go by so fast and with so little explanation (Rodney and his super-genius understanding, gah) I had to reread it to get all the little details, and I still got confused about Rodney's positioning in the cockpit for first bit of this section. The main question I still have is how the heck did a) the suits get diverted and b) Heero find out about it and come to rescue/destroy them?
These two series mesh really well in this scenario. Of course the SG program is going to find and collect alien tech, and of course Heero is going to be ever so slightly fanatical about keeping it out of alien/human/others hands. I love how you integrated his promise of non-violence, as well as his very quirky sense of humor.
It's funny, I don't remember John being quite so thrill-seeking. He does have that quality about him, but I think he'd like to be more in control, imho. Rodney's priorities, freakouts about aliens bleeding on him, and experience/understanding in matters of fanatical alien commandos is so very him. His hysteria tends to be badly done in many authors, so good job there.
One thing I noticed on the reread, John called Deathscythe "buddy"! Thanks for that. I hope you are refreshed and, maybe, inspired to work a little more on your other projects (baby!fic? FF7? heck, anything).
