...You are spoiling us so much, oh my god. For all that I've been waxing poetic on your other fics, I really love this one as well. I don't even really KNOW anything about Conan, but the characters are just so interesting that I gobbled this chapter up.
Question though, since I'm not at all familiar with canon. So Conan (Shinichi) is still young in this, right? De-aged or whatever. How old is he? He said she'd been looking for a cure for seven years- does that mean the younger body has aged? He's what... a teenager? I assume you're going to find some way to turn him back (and on that note, HOW did he get turned back in the show/book?)
...Chances are I could just head over to wikipedia or something and find SOME of this out myself, but I did that when you first started writing Conan and I'm pretty sure all I accomplished was confusing myself.
They were going to make an awesome comic duo. By the time the kid was old enough to understand sarcasm they might have this thing smooth and practiced enough to get him to explode from sheer embarrassment with a single quirk of the eyebrow.
THAT IMAGE IS SO AWESOME. oh my god. And I'm actually kind of thrilled that when this does edge over into actual pairing it's going to more than likely head into Kai/Shin. Because you've had me shipping them since the first chapter.
