He really does! But at the moment he's still so repressed that it's probably better for him if he doesn't see it like a real relationship yet. XD More like... "oh, we discuss cases together. And occasionally have sex." Gradually he'll admit he cares and forget all the reasons why he shouldn't. XD No idea how important that'll get for all involved, but it can only help! (unless some horrific misunderstanding/jealousy crisis happens in which case waugh. But.)
