*sniffles* This kind of made my chest feel all tight and sad. Reading this after reading the Kaiki origin story was a really interesting shift... Less creepy, because they seem sort of like a normal family, as much as they can be for Itachi and Sasuke being the parents.... but still similar enough in tone for the stories to go well together.
