maybe one day i'll go back to page by page but ehh. this chapter was okay but not fascinating enough for me to want to explore each page and panel. (okay, also, i should have been in bed five hours ago. curse you, tvtropes.)

my smart, extraordinarily insightful comments:

-AHAHAHA oh my god the headless joke, it's been a while since i laughed so hard at stuff in this manga. YAMATO bwahahaha. XD

-Okay, the seal being opened was pretty dramatic and probably needed several pages of slow-mo detail. It did work pretty well. but that means the chapter doesn't have a lot of events in it...

-... eeeee!!!!!!! LYING DOWN!KYUUBI socute. in an evil way. sooocute. *fluffs its fur* X3 eee calling naruto by his name X33
-oh my god poor kyuubi being tentacle!molested. socute gnawing on the tentacle! X33
-... huh, human torso on the last page. urgh. D:

apart from those basic points... ehn. I continue to be un-wowed by this nth training arc and the amazingness of Wilderness Island and Killerbee. bugs me a little that he's being presented as a strangely behaving, but basically 100% pure-hearted good person by the narrative in recent chapters. He let his brother believe he was dead so he could get a vacatiooon D: i can understand as a jinchuuriki he really wanted a break, but at best he's kinda thoughtless, and at worst really selfish.

But there was Kyuubi! And the Kyuubi was good.

In relation to Killerbee's actions, did anyone else get the impression that his brother wasn't actually all that surprised that he would pull something like that? To me it seemed like he was really surprised at first, and then seemed resigned to the fact that his brother is an ass.

In my experience, brothers always pull this kind of crap on one another. Raikage and Killerbee have probably been doing this stuff to each other their entire lives. I'm pretty sure Raikage has likely done some pretty crappy things to Bee in the past too, so the way I see it, this stuff may be normal for them.

I thought the unsealing was pretty neat. Seeing Naruto do anything ninja-y besides bunshin attacks is always welcome imo.
