And I just made this tiny little whimper of joy/heart clench over Denzel's "I thought you were dead!" line. In public, and people are looking at me.
But that's okay because this chapter is awesome and you do 14 year old boy so well. (Because they really do have a 9 year old in the back of there heads even if they are trying to be all grown up). But god, I love that line. Because I really think Denzel would be so much more aware of that possibility than most, he's already lost his family once, he's probably terrified it'll happen again.
Only problem is it's so short! But quality over quantity I guess.
