Ow, so temporarily broken. I like the practical, detached feeling here, how it blankets so much chaos. I mean, Sakura is a smart girl but she feels things very deeply, or so I've always thought; her obvious shock is very striking. Also, her strength in having a coping mechanism is good. No flaily little whiner girls here, just damaged people clinging to the things important to them. This whole situation is just icky in a deeply understated way but you make it good reading. You're very talented like that.
