I know, I meant like a jutsu or a more obvious reference to the actual deity. Though I guess maybe there's supposed to be some sort of reference in that Inari was named for the god of the harvest and worldly wealth and he helped in the liberation of Wave Country so that it could gain prosperity...*shrugs*
