My problem is not so much that I think my first draft is terrible, although it is -- so much that I can't stop myself from going back and editing. Partly because reading over what I've already done is the only way to get myself in the mood to write on, but mostly because I keep forgetting important plot points that I was supposed to mention before and didn't, and having to go back to write them in.
