I was 100% positive the chick's not human at, what, a minute into it? Whenever Tifa picks up the compression-jack and starts not just hefting, but swinging it around. Have the animator ever used one of those things? They weigh like fifty freaking pounds!

Once I accepted that, the rest? No problemo! ...except I agree with you about the guys coming in. Very much of the hnn.

Well...things are certainly getting interesting, at least.

I'll admit, the whole Tifa doing the 'Neo vs the Smiths' thing was pretty cool, despite being a HUGE freaking cliche by this point.

The ending amuses me to no end. Yes, helicopter, yes- do go off to your little evil corporate lab while Cloud watches. With (one of) his girlfriends no less. Because Cloud's history with evil corporate entities performing genetic experiments and abducting people he cares about has proven SO beneficial for said organization in the past. I'm sure NOTHING bad could happen to you for that, or for your apparent interest in Materia. No, nothing at all. Really.

I liked it better when it was just girls beating the shit out of each other, Royal Rumble style. The appearance of day-saving great manly men and plot are decreasing its quality. :/ Also when she got the sword through her arm and then pulled it out and used it with that arm... that was when my 'yeah right' kicked in irrevocably.

I'm going back to rewatch the delights of the first two of these things now, though. :D Fuck I love his choreography.

Have to agree with you on the "hnn" part. Okay, I confess, I did want to see the guys come in... but I'd rather they came in the same way the girls did, by both kicking ass and getting their asses kicked. This "we're so cool we don't actually have to do anything" is... annoying.

So let me get this straight: Tifa takes enough damage to kill her and still keeps getting up and is finally only taken out with a punch? Not convincing. I like it when it was strictly girl fight only. Men interveneing the way they are seems to be implying women can't win their own fights and need a man to finish them. What would Xena think? XD Oh and why was Tifa getting her ass kicked in the first place if the DOA people are just gonna turn around and save her? Are they enemies or aren't they?

A fan-made video crossover between the girls from final fantasy and the girls from dead or alive beating the holy hell out of each other. It's awesome. *_* Recently there's been some actual plot emerging, too, which is yay (though it's been brought in by guys, which is less yay. >__> So far the ratio is still two guys to seven-eight girls though.) Okay, at some point you start to wonder if they've got auto-heal installed or something because they don't seem to tire or get injured much, but hey.

I am torn here. On the one hand, "Plot! That's /better/ than porn!"

On the other hand, "The /guys/ are showing up? This has the potential to be either very good, or very...er, not good."

At this point, I, personally, am withholding judgment beyond the *'nother one, another one, yayyayYAY!* dance.

On a completely separate note, is Asuka-sempi familiar with a manga by the name of Vinland Saga? I was thinking that might be something that she would enjoy. (Or I could be completely wrong, but with the level of "brooding child hero" vibes that it was throwing off... >.>
