Korn really fucking hated broken bones. Perhaps even more than evisceration. Having a hole in his abdomen might kill him from blood loss, but having to lay there with a snapped forearm meant that it would probably heal crooked. It didn't help that the white and green hovertrucks kept circling like vultures instead of landing and rescuing their guy.
Also, he was in pain, and for once Mother had told him she'd beat him if he didn't show it. So there he was, sprawled in a sticky puddle of half-dry blood, healing all wrong, and feeling totally ridiculous, to add insult to excruciating injury.
