I'm not a computer expert or anything, but I'm going to cast my vote behind the people saying that "CPU time" is what you want. "Processor power" would also work for a less specific phrase.
Ugh, people who don't know what the meaning of "threesome" is. >:( If it's "the one in the middle is the loved one," that's just two pairings that happen to overlap, not a threesome. :P And it would not work with SasuNaru and NaruSaku, ugh.
I admit, I tend to like threesomes that have "pivots"--a character who is the central emotional figure that draws the other two, if that makes any sense. I have trouble seeing Team 7 OT3 in any other way--Naruto and Sakura love each other and make good friends, but so much of their passion is devoted to Sasuke that he's always going to be the "pivot" for me. But all the same, it's a triangle, not a threesome, if the two other characters don't also have some degree of a romantic relationship with each other. And in the case of NaruSasuSaku, Sasuke may be the emotional center of the pairing, but once they're all together, well. Naruto and Sakura are just too comfortable with each other to not wind up in bed together occasionally in that situation.
