Ah, now I see where the mermaids in SPACE come in. Again - good stuff. I especially like the mermaid's perspective: seeing an intelligent, capable marine biologist as a man-child (possibly a mentally challenged man-child).

Not that it really matters, but I'm told 'Homo habilis' (and all the rest) is supposed to be written like that: capitalized first word, lower-case second.
