And it's true, they are quite nationalist, and it saddens me. One of the profs I had there was asking us as part of a discussion about our impressions of Quebec, and I was talking about that, and she just kind of nodded slowly. She is as guilty of referring to herself like that as any of the rest of them, really, but she thought I had a good point. :/ And Trudeau is probably unpopular there for the same reasons he's popular with the rest of the country: he was nationalist and had a backbone to say what he felt about it all.
