I don't know if it would fit into this scene per se, but something that might be interesting to try would be showing the POV of other characters outside of Team 7. Like, I'd love to see what thoughts Ino or Tsunande have going through their heads.

I really liked that there was some Sasuke/Sakura alone time in this scene. It's nice to see that they can interact without Naruto acting as a bridge. ^_^
