Naruto comic ^^ -- 11 pages long O_o

This is a comic kineko and me wrote together. She also helped with some of the chibis and a few difficult poses. The ink job and the majority of the art is mine; she did the screentones (that, due to my pitiful scanner, have mostly died)

There will be talk about SHONEN AI and HET. Nothing definitely one or the other seeing as this is a humor comic first and foremost. But if you can't take things like cute chibi Naruto kissing either chibi Sasuke or chibi Sakura, then go away; you won't find it funny.

Oh my god - that was just wonderful! I love the artwork, the different expressions on Iruka's face, the chibi's - the fact that Kakashi stole bok six from Hokage-sama!

I have a question - how does one do screen tones?

As for the screntones, it's mostly her forte. (They're not real screentones, but computer tricks.) I know there are sites offering samples of pretty patterns, you can find a lot of them with a google search. Basically (with photoshop) you set them as transparent(?) layer so you can see the lines through it, and cut everything that sticks out of the shaded area. Maybe it's because I don't use that method a lot, but it's rather slow-going. If you have a good printer, it can look like a manga's screetoned page, but it's not going to be as high quality. But on a computer it looks okay ^^

yaoi hints? yaoi HINTS? omg. Naruto officially kisses Sasuke. Sasuke officially "dies" for Naruto. Then there's Haku and Zabuza -- if anyone tells me it was platonic I will laugh so hard I'll end up coughing up a lung. And that's only in the first four books. There are over 20 of them right now and still going (and the plot still hasn't gone stale imho)

The whole series is excellent, the world is very original, the battle scenes are great and the characters are all very developped and interesting (i don't think there is ONE character I dislike there, apart from the ones we're supposed to XD). It takes a little time to set up everything and start, but once it does-- WOOHOO.

There's only one kitsune, and he's actually sealed inside Naruto. (and he's not very nice) But he does influence Naruto on some things, leading to all sorts of delicious "heat" and "mate" things in fanworks XD

In short -- READ IT. and download the anime if you can. NOW.

OK, not really the place for this but here's how I see Haku and Zabuza : their relationship IS platonic. Very strong, but platonic. What makes Haku so special to Zabuza is his innocence - something he never had himself. Touching him would mean to defile his purity, so he'd never do it. So yeah, they loved each other. And never showed it, except by protecting each other. And that's what makes their story so touching.

Thinking about it, reading this comic (and a few others) in Version SD is among the things that convinced me to read Naruto ^^; (before that, I had just read the first volume, was annoyed by Naruto's attitude, so gave up... fortunately my husband had bought them anyway, so when I decided to read it I had it all at hand).

I feel like Naruto will be about the length of Dragon Ball. One thing you can reproach to Kishimoto is that he takes his time to develop his main plot - there still are a lot of things that remain unexplained. And the fights are oh-so-lengthy (fortunately he knows how to end them nicely).

Oh, one thing: IIRC in French you can use the "moi" as an emphasizer, but in English it would gramatically be "I, Gai, will support your love."

You always brighten my day, you know that. Though Kyuubi sex advice is very scary to think about to deeply. Gai does belong in a shoujo or sentai series (pictures Gai trying to get Neji and TenTen dressed up a la Power Ranger style with Lee loving it).

Naruto does not angst, he reminds me of Sana from Kodocha; he gets problem, he thinks and gets sad/angsty/mad over problem, empathizes with others in same stituation then 1) channels Bob the Builder and mows down the problem or 2) cuts to the most obvious solution and goes out for ramen.

I think Sakura might hit more often but Sasuke hits harder so Naruto should just bag both of them. (ninja!love has corrupted me into immorality.)

I officially fell in love with the series when Naruto ended up kissing Sasuke in front of the entire class. Then we met 'Inner Sakura', and that was it. Shonen ai subtext big enough to use as a barsign, floaty voices, and ninja's? Heh, I love your take on Iruka, he's so... parental. And cute. Especially when Naruto's involved. I loved the comic. And yes, Naruto should definitly hook up with both Sakura and Saskue. Hee, *waves a ninja!love banner* I say it again: I luvs it! *huggles* =^____^= mew!
