XDDD he's not actually a pornstar! It' a joke on account of burt sounds like butt and strider is unreasonably badass for a random joe to have, it sounds like an alias for kinky gay biker porn. He does have a crapload of issues that make his life difficult, yeah, but this idea of being a big brother at least is still clean and something he can do to the best of his abilities. (he does have massive issues about fatherhood, motherhood and his own sexuality, though. It's such a good thing Dirk is being raised totally differently re: accepting your orientation and kinks and stuff like that, he's way healthier. Poor Burt. He basically pulled himself out of the deadbeat drinking/smoking/barfighting yourself to death by his bootstraps and his life is way better in the present than in his younger years, but he's always going to have issues, I think. :(

He gets along with and likes the other kids just fine, and has a lot of fun training them, they're all smart and have unlikely levels of physical coordination/speed/strength which makes his job both easier and more of a fun challenge, which is yay. He sees himself like a sort of honorary uncle, but most of the time he doesn't allow them to buddy up because training them so they survive is more important. He regards the two Lalondes with pride mixed with unease, because dude they're badass and terrifyingly dangerous and he's hella proud of them but at the same time they're girls and he has these silly "can't fully relate" ideas. Especially whenever Rose does something that reminds him of his own mom, it doesn't even need to be anything bad, but... issues. IIIIIssues. Weird enough he gets along with Jade just fine. :X
