Today, a list!

-Apparently staying up 24 hours in a row means that I get to sleep 16 hours in a row afterwards. :DDD;;;

---It also means that when I am shuffling through the apartment in the dark to GET ME SOME FOOD, the fridge has missed me so much that it goes and meets me in the middle of the hallway. *rubs nose* ;_; WTF fridge, why are you not at your place anymore. The oven is lonely without you.

-I've been stalking my Joule page for DAYS AND DAYS, tracking the slow progress of my "friends of" list... So of course it means that after days and days of the "get two new friends, lose one" dance (;_;) I get three new friends in a row and now I've got no clue who the 500th one is. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hi, new peoples~

BUT I CAN PARTY FOR 501 FRIENDS JUST AS WELL REALLY. I mean, dude, I still can't wrap my mind properly around what it really means. Five hundred and one. @__@ I FEEL... WATCHED.

I can spam with a few presents! I've been meaning to give Asuka-san some prettypretty music for a while now. ♥ (Tell me if you already have some/all of the songs from the Wolf's Rain OSTs, though, 'cause that's what I had in mind. XD If not, there are two French songs that always make me think of you when I hear them, and a few others that are just plain shiny that I thought you might like. ♥~)

It took a little while to upload most of my favorites that I think you'd like ~~slow FTP program FTW~~, but I managed to pick 11 pretties out of the 44 songs~

2. "Heaven's Not Enough" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/01 - Heaven's Not Enough.mp3) - The insert song from episode 21, also very pretty, sung by Steve Conte. 5. "Valse de la Lune" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/Yokko Kanno - Valse de la Lune.mp3) - One of the two French songs, the one that really makes me think of you and the werewolf GW stuff you do/did. :3 ♥ (And back when I used to write were-Yuugiou stuff, it inspired me, but that was six billion forevers ago before I even knew about you. 7. "Tell Me What The Rain Knows" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/18 - Tell Me What The Rain Knows.mp3) - This is the song that plays in the ending of episode 26, which was the end of Wolf's Rain until the fans demanded they wrap up all the loose ends they left. XD ~~And then they gave us four episodes and the most depressing ending in the history of depressing endings, which sucked.~~ Kind of short, but still shiny and pretty and proof that Maaya Sakamoto can hit some damn high notes. o-o (This is the last song with any lyrics--well, lyrics for existing languages--so this is the last lyric link. 8. "Cycle" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/03 - Cycle.mp3) - It sounds like it's got lyrics, but it doesn't--it's what I think is a made-up language Yoko Kanno uses in her songs sometimes. The only real word they use is "cycle", and that's it. Still sounds good, though. XD

9. "My Little Flower" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/Yokko Kanno - My Little Flower.mp3) - My favorite background music of the entire series. It's so delicate and romantic and sweet, I always just drop what I'm doing when it starts and listen for a while. ;0; Looove it.

10. "Indiana" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/15 - Indiana.mp3) - I never knew one could make a flute sound like a wolf howling before I heard this. So so so pretty. ~~And not named after the US State. At least, I don't think it was intentional. XD;;;~~

11. "Rain of Blossoms" (http://www.scenefromhere.com/starchan/ost/07 - Rain of Blossoms.mp3) - Absolutely joyous sounding background music, it always makes me feel really happy when I hear it. :3 Lovely~

So I heard a rumor that Naruto Hurricane Chronicles will be a entirely different story from the manga after the timeskip. I heard this from someone who heard it from someone, so I'm taking it with salt. Haven't found anything on the interwebs to confirm it. I was wondering if you or one of your minions knew the truth? Sorry for starting rumors, but this seemed like the appropriate place.

XD pretty sure that's pure bullshit. I seriously doubt they were refering to some miraculous NEW STORY THAT SOMEHOW DOES NOT SUCK. XD If they could do that without Kishimoto, why didn't they do it before? As in, during the stupid fillers? D:

Also if they planned on going into a separate direction, it would mean they didn't buy the rights to post-timeskip and then they would not be allowed to use the part.2 costumes.

Also, unless i'm remembering totally wrong, Kishimoto talked about it in the manga. It was just a line, but if there had been any way to take "this part of naruto will not be animated" from it, believe me the fandom would be in an uproar.

... also I'm, yeah, pretty much sure that if they were moronic enough to do that, the fans who are still holding on would finally leave en masse. XD

actual question: For a side-fic (that I will write, damnit!) where I have Ino, Chouji, and Sakura on a team (chunnin exam during the timeskip, temperary team), how would the team dynamics work? Does T10 see Sakura as trying to take Shika's place? Does the rivalry between Sakura and Ino keep getting in the way? Does T10 feel like a cheap subsitute for T7? I have the basic outline of how I want the story to turn out, but the diolouge just seems flat.

ohh uh lemme think of that. I think the girls would be kind of snippy with each other and Chouji would be going "er, come on, please" a lot. Not sure they'd listen to him all the time right away. But Sakura wouldn't want to look like a harpy in front og him and Ino is his friend, and besides now they're not hating each other anymore so apart from some bitching it would go alright. Sakura might get to use some of her smarts to figure out new combos/tricks and stuff, since Ino's skills aren't very good for straight-out combat and Shika ain't here no more which renders many inoshikacho combos useless. Sakura would probably be very aware that Ino and Chouji are not even competing to relace her team; they're just all helping each other out so they can then join their real teams, and that's it. Come to think of it, the good (though not excellent) teamwork they would display would probably count for a lot in their becoming chuunin, as they would prove that they can work reasonably well with other people.
So there would be girly snark between the girls and chouji sighing a lot, and some awkward "not at my place" tension, but no huge messes or anything.

Don't know if there is a manga (there probably is) Two guys who work as black-ops contractors to the Royal Family doing things that the Family can't be seen as having a connection to. (Stuff ranging from escorting an Anastasia to an assassination. No, that's not the same mission) They have *toys* (most of them are disguised as cigarette paraphernalia), there is fun interaction between the two agents (and their boss, and supporting cast) and it's *finished* (I have the series staring at me, commanding me to rewatch it)
