So yeah, in case I forgot to warn people, I'm going back to the mountains in about fourteen six hours.

For two weeks.

With no internet, no books, and no town anywhere close by. And I can't drive. And I don't make friends with random people easily at all, so I already know that i'll be lucky if I manage to talk with anyone not my family.

I'm so totally going to die. I don't wanna goooo T_T

EDIT: okay i'm that bored and desperate to do something creative, so!

DRABBLE CHALLENGE. Gimme a pairing-or-character and either a situation or a line to include or ... whatever, theme or something, and i'll write at least a few lines for it. Scene might be incomplete if I run out of ideas. I don't promise i'll even write it, (either i get inspired right on the spot, or I won't, ever) but I can try. Please try not to be too vague with the prompts plz. XD

"Give me that violet crayon. No, not this one, that's purple."

The two siblings were sitting in front of a wide mirror, an array of makeup paraphernalia spread on the tablet.

"Purple, violet. You think I know the difference?"

Temari rolled her eyes at Kankuro.

"You should, violet is several shades darker."

"Then why didn't you say 'dark purple'?"

Kankuro snorted, cynical.

"Okay. Find me the dark purple one. No, this one's plum. That one's more eggplant."

"Eggplant is a recognized shade now?"

"You'd rather have the fancy word on the label?"

"Oh, shut up and close your eyes. I'm going to apply it now."

"... You know, I can do it myself. Probably a lot better, too."

"Hey! You were the one who wanted to teach me about make-up."

"You were the one who suggested we find something to bond over, and we already did the cleaning-weapons-in-tandem schtick."

"... Shut up. Close your eyes. Close your mouth. Else I swear I'll draw purple butterflies on your forehead."

Grumbling, Kankuro closed his eyes, and let his sister experiment with his make-up. He just hoped she wouldn't crush the edge of his magenta lipliner beyond repair.

Because Kakairu is an okay ship but I can't see it in canon. But i can see that Asuma, Kurenai and Kakashi are friends, or at least friendly acquaintances. Kakashi teases them, they seem to be together rather often. They're all jounin with a team of brats, so they understand each other's concerns and mindsets, and kurenai and asuma sound level-headed and matter-of-fact enough to welcome Kakashi between them from time to time if that's all kakashi-of-the-many-issues can bring himself to accept.

... damn. i've thought about it more than i thought.
